REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF
INTEREST

PURCHASE OF LAND IN KIANJIRU AREA
The Government of Kirinyaga County wishes to purchase land
for treatment works for the proposed Mwea-Kutus Water Supply as specified below
and hereby invites expression of interest from interested bidders within
Kirinyaga County.
A. LAND FOR TREATMENT WORKS FOR THE PROPOSED MWEA-KUTUS
WATER SUPPLY PROJECT
The ideal land should be between 1 and 2 Acres accessible
through a classified road.

Locality-Area
should be around Kianjiru Township - Kirinyaga County
2.
Status of Ownership-Freehold
3.
Gradient-Gentle Sloping to the South-West.
4.
Elevation-Over 1350 MASL
The Government of Kirinyaga County reserves the right to
accept or reject any or all offers either in whole or in part and is not bound
to give reasons thereof.
The expression of interest should include:
(a)
Certified copy of Title Deed or proof of
ownership.
(b)
Current search certificate or letter confirming
ownership
(c)
Map/Sketch indicating the exact location of the
land.
Interested bidders must submit a letter of expression of
interest in plain sealed envelopes bearing no indication of the firm bidding
clearly labelled on the top “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PURCHASE OF LAND” to be
dropped into the tender box provided on the ground floor of the County Commissioners
building in Kirinyaga Central Sub-County and addressed to:

To be received on or before 15th September 2014 at 12.00 pm
offers will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or
their representatives who choose to attend.
