NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY

The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) is a State Corporation established under the Industrial Training (Amendment) Act No. 34 of 2011 with the mandate to promote the highest standards in the quality and efficiency of industrial training in Kenya and ensure an adequate supply of properly trained manpower at all levels in industry.

The Authority wishes to invite bids from contractors to carry out works and supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an enterprises resource planning ERP) system to the Authority and its centers.

Eligible bidders may obtain Tender Documents (hard copy) from Supply Chain Management office located of 1st floor, Main office Block B, along commercial street, Nairobi , on weekdays during working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya shillings one thousand (kshs.1,000) only payable cash to Account no. 1102588075, Kenya commercial bank (KCB), Industrial area Branch and slip presented at the cash office before 4.00pm on normal working days or banker’s cheque payable to the Director General, National Industrial Training Authority, Nairobi.

Soft copies for Tender No. NITA/04/2014-2015 may be downloaded from the website www.nita.go.ke under tenders free of charge.

NB:         1.  Tenders nos. NITA/06/2014-2015, 08/2014-2015, 11/2014-2015 and 14/2014-15 are reserved for women, youth and people with disabilities.

2. The Pre-Bid Conference for NITA/04/2014-2015 will be on Friday 5th September, 2014 at 11.00am at NITA Headquarters office - Nairobi

Tenders in plain sealed envelopes, marked tender number on the right hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer addressed to:

And placed in the tender box on First floor of the main Administration Block, National Industrial Training Authority, Commercial street, Nairobi or sent by post to reach the above address not later than Tuesday 16th September, 2014 at 10:00am.

Submitted bids shall be opened publically in the Board Room on second Floor, Main Administration Block, National Industrial Training Authority, commercial street , Nairobi soon after the above closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their representative who chose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened.

Price quoted must remain valid for one hundred twenty days (120) days from the opening date of the tender.

The Authority reserves the right to reject any tender without giving reasons for the rejection and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
