PREQUALIFICATION FOR SUPPLY OF GOODS, WORKS & SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2014/2015

The County Government of Kwaleinvites applications from interested, eligible service providers for the provision of legal services for the financial year 2014/2015 as below:

Interested eligible bidders Must meet the following as also set out in the tender documents:

a.    Attach a valid single business permit

b.    Attach a valid certificate of incorporation/ Registration.

c.    Attach a valid tax compliance certificate

d.    Attach a validVAT and /PIN certificates

e.    Attach valid copies of Admission certificates & valid current practicing certificate

f.     List of 3 reputable clients that the bidders is currently representing

g.    Attach reference letters from the client’s company letterhead, with details of contact persons.

h.    Audited accounts for the past 2 years (2012/2013)

i.      Names, details and qualifications of key staff with CVs attached

j.      Attached a detailed Company profile

k.    Submit the documents in duplicate-original and copy

l.      Give copy of rates/charges with clear terms, quarterly/monthly/annually

m.  Duly filled prequalification document

n.    Tender purchase receipts

o.    Evidence of a valid professional indemnity insurance cover of at least Kshs.

10 million taken out with a reputable insurance firm.

p.    Bidders should disclose if they areengaged past or pending litigation against the board and the nature of the litigation in order to avoid conflict of interest

q.    Evidence of physical address and premises. Attach copies of utility bills ie.electricity/water in proprietor’s/partner’s or firm’s name or lease agreement.

Tender/prequalification documents can be obtained from the county procurement office, County Government Headquarters, Kwale, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1000.00 per set of documents. This amount is payable in cash or bankerschequepayable to Kwale County Government

Or be deposited in the tender box situated at the procurement offices, on or before Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:30am.Tender/prequalification documents will be opened immediately; all applicants will be notified of the outcome once the evaluation and examination of the document is complete.

The County Government of Kwale reserves the right to accept or reject and tender in whole or part and is not bound to give reasons for its decision thereof.
