NATIONAL OPEN TENDER

1.1   The county Government of Nyamira invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the Tender detailed below:-

TENDER NAME	SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

1.2   Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at the office of Head Supply Chain Management Services, County Government of Nyamira situated at Treasury Building opposite IFAD Hall, Nyamira during normal working hours

1.3   A complete set of the tender document may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees of Ksh. 1,000 payable to Nyamira County Revenue collection Account No. 1141 120 89 89, KCB Nyamira Branch. Upon depositing the tender fee, Bidders are required to obtain an official receipt from County Revenue office situated adjacent to County Procurement Office during normal working hours

1.4   Bid security / Bid bond is 2 % of the total bid price

1.5   A performance Security of 10% of the contract price will be applicable for this tender and must be submitted before signing the contract

1.6   Eligible bidders must demonstrate impeccable proven experience in supply, Delivery, Installation, Training and Commissioning of Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Systems

1.7   Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender reference number and addressed to:

1.8   And must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the ground floor (entrance to the main building) County Government of Nyamira Headquarters so as to be received on or before Wednesday, 17th September, 2014 at 10.00 a.m East African time.

1.9   Price quoted should be net; inclusive of all government taxes and delivery and must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the tender.

1.10            1.10Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at the Governor’s Boardroom, 2nd Floor, County Government of Nyamira Headquarters, on 17 th September, 2014 at 10.00 a.m East African time.
