REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CONDUCT BASELINE SURVEYS ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY & EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION/ENGAGEMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT SURVEYS

The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Judicial Performance Improvement Project (JPIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the consultancy services.
The purpose of the customer satisfaction survey is to establish the satisfaction levels of the Judiciary’s customers, and assess the customers’ perception of the level and quality of service delivery. While the objective of employee satisfaction and work environment survey is to understand employee morale, how employees perceive the workplace, assess teamwork and management activities.
The Judiciary now invites eligible Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications, capacity and relevant experience to perform the services. The short listing criteria are, the Consultant Firm should have at least 10 years’ experience in provision of similar services; and the firm should demonstrate that it has carried out at least two similar assignments in Kenya or in any African country.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers published in January, 2011 “Consultant Guidelines”, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
The Consultant Firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
