QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS

Oxfam is one of the world’s leading International Humanitarian Agencies assisting people affected by poverty, natural disasters and conflict throughout the world. With over 5,000 staff and dedicated volunteers in more than 90 countries, Oxfam is able to achieve the greatest impact to alleviate poverty and suffering through combining emergency response work, long-term development programmes, and campaigning for lasting change. The Horn, East, and Central Africa (HECA) region is the largest within Oxfam, covering eight countries including Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. The Regional Centre is based in Nairobi and provides leadership and strategic support to the Oxfam country programmes.

Oxfam HECA Shared Services Centre is in the process of qualifying suppliers for the following categories for the year 2014/2016. We invite eligible firms interested in being considered for the categories listed below and able to fulfill to the following requirements:

·         Should have at least 2 or more years of experience in the respective industry

·         Must be able to provide evidence of providing similar services to 3 organizations in the past two years

·         Should be able to provide evidence of quality assurance e.g. ISO accreditation, health certificates and relevant training for employees

The tender documents including specifications for submission are available from Friday 12/09/2014 to Friday 10/10/2014 from 9.00am to 12:00pm and 2.30pm to 4.00pm at a non-refundable fee of KES 3,000 (bankers cheque ONLY) for each category by visiting the Oxfam office listed below. The deadline for submitting completed tender bids is 4.30 pm on Friday 10/10/2014.

Completed qualification documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked Qualification for… (item category) e.g. Qualification for OXFS/2014/SSC/001 and placed in the tender box that will be kept at our reception on second floor of The Atrium building.

OXFAM reserves the right to accept or reject any part or the entire tender without assigning any reasons.
