Tender
documents with detailed specifications may be obtained from the respective
Sub-County supplies Chain Management offices during normal working hours upon
payment of nonrefundable fee of Kshs.1,000/= (One Thousand Only) for each set
Payable in cash or bankers cheque.
Prices quoted
Must be net and inclusive of all
Kenya duties, taxes and delivery costs to departments within Meru County.
Prices quoted Must be expressed in
Kshs and Must be valid for a period of 120 days from the closing date.
Bidders
quoting for tender no.7 &19 must attach certificate of Good conduct, tender
nos. 16, 17 and 18 must attach registration certificates from relevant
ministries, profile of woks done in the last 3 years, current tax compliance
certificates from KRA and list of qualified staff for the said works. Those quoting for tender no. 1 must attach
pin certificate and for meat products must attach relevant local authority and public
health licenses.
Completed
tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the correct tender
number and bearing no indication of tenderer’s name should be deposited in the
tender box at the County Commissioner’s office or sent by post to:

So as to
reach him not later than Thursday 21st
August 2014 at 10.am. Tenders will
be opened immediately thereafter at Meru County Commissioner’s boardrooms and
witnessed by tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
