TEACHERS SERVICE COMMISSION (TSC)

TENDER NOTICE

The Teachers Service Commission is a constitutional Commission established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution of Kenya (2010). The Commission is mandated to register trained teachers, recruit and employ teachers, assign teachers employed by the Commission, exercise disciplinary control over registered teachers, terminate employment of teachers, review standards of education and training of persons entering the teaching service, review demand for and supply of teachers and advise the national government on matters relating to the teaching profession.

The Commission invites Tenders for the following Services:-

Detailed Tender Documents may be obtained from Supply Chain Management Services Division, at the TSC House, 2nd Floor Podium Wing, Kilimanjaro Road, during normal working hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs.1,000 (One thousand shillings) per set payable in Cash or Bankers Cheque at the Cash Office.

Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and must be expressed in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the closing date.

Completed tender documents accompanied by a tender security bond in the form and amount specified in the tender documents must be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender reference number and addressed to The Secretary, Teachers Service Commission, Private Bag, 00100, Nairobi and shall be deposited in the Tender Box at TSC House Podium Wing, Main Reception Ground Floor so as to be received on or before 28th August 2014 at 10.00am.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter on the above respective date and time in the presence of the candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at the TSC House, Third Floor Podium Wing.
