TENDER NOTICE

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 with the responsibility of Management, Development, Rehabilitation and Maintenance of National Roads.
The Authority hereby invites bids from eligible Contractors for provision of Maintenance of various roads to be funded through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund as listed below;

QUALIFICATION FOR TENDERING
Mandatory Requirements
The following must be submitted together with the tender;
1.    Copy of Certificate of Incorporation.
2.    Copy of Registration Certificate with the National Construction Authority in the respective classes.  Only those bidders registered in the classes as indicated are eligible to bid for the respective tenders.
3.    Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (will be verified on the KRA TCC Checker). Other requirements will be as stipulated in the tender document s.
Procurement shall be based on the post qualification method and the above details will be submitted with the priced bid.
There shall be a mandatory pre-tendersite visit as specified in the above table.
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers from KeNHA Head office in Blue Shield Towers, Procurement office Ground floor during working hours upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Ksh . 1,000 (One thousand shillings only) in form of banker’schequeonly payable to Kenya National Highways Authority. The tender documents are also available in the KeNHA Website. Those who will download the document, it will be free of charge
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelope clearly marked with tender name, reference number and deposited in the tender box at KeNHA Head office in Blue Shield Towers Mezzanine Floor So as to be received on or before 10.00 am on Tuesday, 26thAugust, 2014.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the KeNHA’s Head Office in the presence of Tenderers/Representatives who wish to attend.
