Adeso has been strengthening rural livelihoods and delivering innovative humanitarian aid and development programmes for over 20 years.

Adeso is soliciting for proposals for the Provision of Medical / Health Insurance cover for staff and dependants for a period of twelve months 1st October 2014 to 31st September 2015.

This “Request For Proposal” is for provision of Medical/Health Insurance services encompassing inpatient, outpatient, medical emergency services and other medical services for Adeso staff and their dependants spread across different regions in Kenya, Somalia-Lower Juba (Lower Juba access Kenya for medical services) and South Sudan as outlined in the Request For Proposal that can be downloaded from Adeso website www.adesoafrica.org along with other relevant tender documents. Responses are expected from underwriters only. No brokers are allowed to participate.

Interested bidders should ensure they comply with all stated instructions in the Request For Proposal.

To be considered, Bidders should submit a complete proposal in two Separate Envelops:-

        I.            Technical Proposal detailing how they will execute the provision of Medical / Health Services to Adeso staff and their depandants, highlighting their partners, the links & relationships of their partners, how they will manage emergency medical needs and give a detail list of services/benefits that they will provide amongst other requirements outlined in the Request For Proposal.

      II.            Cost Proposal outlining all the charges associated with the provision of Medical/Health Insurance which should include/but not limited to elements such as co-paying, co-insuring, deductable fee or 100% cover, claim/reimbursement provision where applicable etc.

The proposal should be received no later than the closing date and time indicated above. Bidders should ensure that the proposal is well-written in English, easy to read, follows the instructions provided and contains only the requested information.

Any questions should be submitted in writing and emailed to tenders@adesoafrica.org no later than seven days after the issue date of this RFP. No questions will be entertained if they are received by means other than the specified email address. The tender document number should be stated in the subject line.
