INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Tender Name:   CONSTRUCTION OF KISERIAN SEWERAGE

Athi Water Services Board (AWSB) has received funding from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (MEWNR) of the Republic of Kenya for the Construction of Kiserian Sewerage.

The Athi Water Services Board now invites sealed tenders for the construction of Kiserian Sewerage which will involve the construction of sewer lines, waste stabilization ponds, access Roads, Administration blocks and residential houses and other auxiliary works. Additional information will be available in the tender documents. The Construction period is 18 months.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the offices of Athi Water Services Board, Chief Executive Officer, and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 0800 hours to 1700 hours local time from Monday to Friday, except during lunch hour (1300 hours to 1400 hours), during weekends and public holidays at the address given below.

A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only) in cash or Bankers Cheque payable to Athi Water Services Board; Domestic preference of 10% will apply.

All bids must be accompanied by an unconditional Bank Bid Security of 2% of the tendered amount.

A pre-tender site meeting and visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, 3^rd September, 2014 at 10.00am East African Time, at AWSB offices.

Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of tender.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00 East African time on Thursday 18th September, 2014. The packages should be clearly marked Construction of Kiserian Sewerage, Contract No.: AWSB/GoK/KSP/01/14. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
