SERVICES FOR DESIGN, PREPARATION OF BID DOCUMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION
FOR PROPOSED OFFICE BLOCK IN NAIROBI
TENDER NO.: MFA&IT/EOI/008/2014-2015
The Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and International Trade wishes to develop an ultra-modern
multi-storeyed office block close to the city centre of Nairobi, to house its
headquarters. The building will be equipped with modern conferencing facilities.
The Ministry
intends to engage a Consortium to provide Architectural,
Quantity and Land Surveying, Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical
& Mechanical Engineering, Landscaping and Environmental Impact Assessment
(EIA) services for the implementation of the proposed project.
The purpose
of this advertisement is to seek Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitable
firms to facilitate shortlisting of qualified, experienced and reputable
Consortiums for the implementation of this project. Consortiums shortlisted
under the stated requirements will be invited to submit Technical and Financial
bids.

The complete
Expression of Interest should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN, PREPARATION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS AND
CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FOR PROPOSED OFFICE BLOCK IN NAIROBI should be

Floor, Old Treasury Building so as to be received on or before 22nd August 2014 at 10.00a.m.
Expression of
Interest will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of candidates’
representatives who choose to attend at Ministry’s
Headquarters, 2nd Floor Conference Room.
Only
firms which fulfill the requirements as stated will be prequalified under this
procedure and be invited to submit their Technical and Financial proposals in
accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005 and Regulations
thereon.
