TENDER NOTICE

Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank) invites bids from interested firms for:
1.    Tender for Supply and Maintenance of Point of Sale (POS) Terminals, Tender No.KPOSB/008/2014-2015
2.    Tender for Supply, Printing and Personalization of EMV Dual Interface cards with Magstripe,Tender No.KPOSB/009/2014-2015
3.    Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Provision of an Integrated Mobile and Internet Solution, Tender No.KPOSB/010/2014-2015. Both local and International firms are eligible to express their interest. The details for this tender are provided below:-
4.    Tender for Letting of Vacant Spaces at Postbank Headquarters Building and Mombasa Building, Tender No.KPOSB/011/2014-2015.

The Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank) is a fully state owned bank created to encourage thrift and provide savings facilities. The bank offers savings & payments services and runs a national network of over 99 branches and has a customer base in excess of 1 million.
Requirements
The bank is in the process of repositioning its service offering through the introduction of innovative delivery channels. As a result, the bank is inviting prospective International and local vendors/bidders to express their interest for pre-qualification submit proposals for an integrated
The new mobile and internet platform will enable Postbank to continuously enhance the value proposition to her customers by making banking easier and affordable. This way, Postbank is helping her customers accumulate savings and thus create wealth for their development.
Project Objectives and Expected Deliverables:
Supply and commission Mobile and Internet Banking solution.
The successful vendor/bidder will be required to design a customized solution that will integrate with the bank’s existing systems, to install, configure, test, train, implement and offer ongoing maintenance & support for the solution. Bidders who do not have a mobile and internet banking solution as a packaged are encouraged to associate to enhance their qualification.

Bid documents for the four (4) tenders, with detailed information may be obtained from Postbank House, 4th Floor, and Procurement Office South Wing upon payment of a nominal non- refundable fee of Kshs 1,000 per set of document, evidenced by an official receipt. Payment may be made in cash or banker’s cheque at the payments office, 3rd floor, Postbank
House, Monday to Friday during normal working hours. Alternatively bid documents may be downloaded from Postbank website www.postbank.co.ke free of charge, upon download; the bidders must register their tenders at Procurement Office 4th floor.
Completed bid documents should be submitted in a plain sealed envelope and clearly marked with the respective tender name and tender number and addressed to:-

and be deposited in the tender box on 3rd Floor, South Wing of Postbank House, Banda Street Nairobi, Kenya to be received on or before 10.00 a.m. Thursday 28th August 2014. Opening of the tenders will take place immediately thereafter in the Conference Room on 5th Floor, South Wing, Postbank House in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend.
