ENERGEY REGULATORY AUTHORITY(ERC)

INVITATION TO TENDER

Energy Regulatory Commission is (ERC) is established under the Energy Act, 2006, as the energy sector regulatory agency, with the responsibility for economic and technical regulation of electrical power, renewable energy and downstream petroleum sub sectors. This mandate includes tariff setting and review, licensing, enforcement of standards, dispute settlement and approval of power purchase network service contracts.

The Commission invites sealed tenders from eligible firms for the following tenders:-

Tender documents may be obtained from the ERC Procurement office located at 1st floor Eagle Africa Centre, Longonot Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ksh.1,000 per document or can be downloaded from ERC website: www.erc.go.ke at no fee.

Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked Tender No. and Description should be addressed to:

and deposited in the Tender Box situated on 1st Floor, Eagle Africa Centre, Longonot Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi or sent by post so as to reach the above address not later than 1st September 2014 at 11.30am.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter on the closing date in the presence of the tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the opening in ERC Hearing Room situated on the 1st Floor, Eagle Africa Centre, Longonot Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi.
