TENDER NOTICE

The Geothermal Development Company Ltd (GDC) invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for supply of the following items whose specifications are detailed in the tender document:

Interested eligible firms may obtain further information, and obtain the tender documents at the office of the Manager, Supply Chain between 9.00am to 4.00pm during working days.

A complete set of the tender document may be obtained by interested firms upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.1000 each payable to our accounts office in cash or by banker’s cheque. The document can also be viewed and downloaded from the website www.gdc.co.ke free of charge or at no cost  . Bidders who download the tender document from the website MUST forward their particulars immediately for records and any further tender clarifications and addenda.

Tenders must be accompanied by an original bid security of Kshs. 200,000.00 in form specified in the tender document

The completed tenders in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with Tender No. and Tender reference name; shall be addressed to:

and deposited in the tender box at the GDC Riverside Office 2nd Floor located along Riverside Drive, on or before 29th August 2014 at 2:00pm (1400Hrs).

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers’ or their representatives who choose to attend at GDC Riverside Board Room.

There will be a MANDATORY VISIT to the MENENGAI GEOTHERMAL SITE on 22nd August 2014. Prospective bidders are requested to assemble at the GDC Nakuru Polo Office 2nd floor situated along Kenyatta Avenue, Nakuru at 10:00am

Late tenders will not be accepted.
